The Memorare by Saint Bernard – A most powerful prayer.

Where is the world heading? We wake everyday to awful local and international news. What happened in Barcelona yesterday, and in France, and other European countries not very long ago, is very lamentable. Prayers to the victims and perpetrators of these terror acts. May God have mercy on them!

The following prayer, The Memorare is a miraculous prayer I pray daily as part of the Walk of the Incarnation powerful devotion. Learn it, recite it with your heart and soul asking our Loving Mother Her Intercession, Support and Protection; to be with us always, especially during the times of struggle, and at the hour of our death.

Say it, to lovingly pray for all our sisters and brothers of the world.

What we need in this world is to fight against hatred… with Love.

The Memorare in English:

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of the Incarnation, my Mother; to thee do I come oh Mother of my Lord Jesus Christ; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy and by the Mystery of thy Holy Incarnation, hear and answer me, for the love of God,  Amen.

The Memorare en Español:

The Memorare In Latin:

Amen.

Also, you must read these 3 books, The Saga of Citeaux. I loved the second one the most. You can find them in English or Spanish:
